About Acronis True Image 7.0 ---------------------------------- Acronis True Image is an award-winning backup and disaster recovery software package that guarantees the integrity of your PC data and programs in the event of a virus attack, crashed disk drive, corrupted file or other serious problem with data or a disk drive. It allows yo u to create an exact image of your PC hard disk, including all operating systems and software, data, personal settings, configurations, software updates and patches, and anything else that might be on your disk drive. In case a failure occurs that prevents you from accessing the data or damages the OS, or if you accidentally deleted valuable files, you will be able to restore the system or necessary information easily and quickly. You can repair a damaged partition or recover lost data by restoring the entire image or just extracting the necessary files to the hard disk. The unique technology developed by Acronis and implemented into Acronis True Image enables you to create exact hard disk images and restore their contents directly from within Windows without rebooting the system; competitive products work in DOS and require one or more reboots to restore images. Acronis True Image also lets you migrate data from an existing hard disk to a new hard disk.
